EXTER is a long-term programme of the Ukrainian Institute aimed at building sustainable partnerships with art residencies around the world. The programme is designed for artists, curators, art critics, and scholars. EXTER aims to build connections, facilitate exchange and collaborations between Ukrainian and international professionals, strengthening Ukraine’s presence in the global art community.

The Artist-In-Residence program AIR_Frankfurt aims to foster international interaction between Frankfurt and emerging art centers across the world. Due to the circumstances caused by the Russian full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the city of Frankfurt and basis e.V. is providing three scholarships for Ukrainian artists in April-June 2023.
