2023 Spring: Portraits of Community

Work by artists engaging in the act of recording surroundings, appearance, identity and personality. This may include a body of people that are akin or estranged whether in a photograph, painting, sculpture, or other medium.

This exhibition is part of a larger process where artists, through their gaze and critical thought, are our window into ways of living. Whether it portrays a single individual, a group or area of geographical study that reveals humanity.

This group exhibition intends to explore these qualities of communities and their various expressions.
