fleetstreet residency

Since 1 January 2011 the Fleetstreet Theater Hamburg sets up together with the Free and Hanseatic City of Hamburg, the Hamburgische Kulturstiftung and the Rudolf Augstein Stiftung a Residency Program for groups of artists working across all genres by means of performative arts, visual arts, film and/or music.

The Fleetstreet Residency Program is designed to support young groups which put up productions with reasonable means which is suitable for smaller theatres.

The Fleet Street Theater in Hamburg is made available to the artist groups for a period of one to three months. In addition, a residential studio (3 rooms, kitchen, bathroom) is provided and an expense allowance totaling €1,000 per month is paid. In addition, the artists receive funding from the Hamburg Cultural Foundation and the Rudolf Augstein Foundation in the amount of €1,000 per month each for the costs of implementing and presenting the projects (a total of €3,000 per month can therefore be expected). Funding from the foundations does not have to be applied for separately.
