Description
The Abbey Fellowships and Scholarship in painting are all-expenses-paid residencies at the British School at Rome. These awards give artists a unique opportunity for to get away from everyday pressures and work independently in the most fascinating city of the ancient and modern world, alongside a multi-disciplinary and supportive community of researchers, scholars and practitioners. Candidates can apply for a Fellowship - 3 month residencies with monthly stipends of £1500, or a Scholarship - a 9 month residency with monthly stipend of £1000.
