In celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence, the City of Coral Springs Public Art Program will temporarily display up to four artworks throughout Coral Springs for the duration of one year.
Public Art Project Description
In celebration of the 250th Anniversary of the Signing of the Declaration of Independence, the City of Coral Springs Public Art Program will temporarily display up to four art artworks at various locations throughout Coral Springs, for the duration of one year. These artworks will be officially unveiled at the May Community Concert on May 1, 2026, and will be featured as a key element of the upcoming Fourth of July celebrations at Mullins Park. At the end of the one-year period, one artwork or artwork series will be purchased for permanent display at Coral Springs Veterans Park, as part of the Coral Springs Public Art Collection.

Veterans Park, 8601 Royal Palm Boulevard, Coral Springs, FL 33065
Permanent display location for selected artwork(s):
For over 20 years, Coral Springs’ Public Art Program has enriched the lives of residents through the display of fine artwork and implementation of public art programs. This Memorial Day, the Public Art Program will reveal up to four large public artworks which celebrates both our country’s history, as well as the values and mission of Coral Springs.
This public artwork will remain on display until May of 2027, and serve as a visual representation of not only our collective history as a country, but also our goals for the future. The Public Art Committee may select one artwork or a series to purchase for a total value of $55,000 or less.
It is imperative the artwork is installed by April 30, 2026. Proposals and contracts will not be approved if the artist is unable to install the work by due date.
