A Common Longing is a recurring interdisciplinary live event and exhibition hosted by the collective Femanifesto .

Inspired by poet Rainer Maria Rilke, A Common Longing refers to the strange physical, emotional and intellectual drive that pushes artists to make work. What is this longing that pushes people to create? Where does it come from, and where does it take us? This evening aims to touch upon artists’ creative inspiration and their relationship to their own artistic process. It will also serve as a space for people to play around with ideas in a low-pressure environment, following their own sense of intuition and, of course, their longing.
