artist residency

A space on the land for artists to have time for their creative process to unfold.

We offer artist residencies that are up to two weeks in length between March and November. We can host up to 3 people at a time.

• The land—which we hope will be an inspiration—encompasses 300 acres with a garden and hiking trails through some old growth trees, springs and meadows.

• We are located 2 miles from the town of Woodbury. For residents without a car, we will pick you up from the Nashville airport/bus station. We also offer rides to town for errands 2-3 times a week.  

• We are located in a rural environment, and parts of the land are ragged by some standards. If, before applying for residency, you need more info about mobility and physical accessibility, please email us for a more detailed description.

• If you have any questions about the local area let us know and we can set up a phone chat and answer your questions.

• Artists in residence are not expected to complete or exhibit their work. Artists are welcome to host an artist talk, but this is not required.
