open call: mcclure gallery 2027-2028 exhibition programme

The McClure Gallery is now accepting submissions for its 2027-2028 exhibition programme.

General Information

• Exhibition proposals are reviewed by a committee of peers, which is renewed every year.

• Selected proposals may be presented in one or both of the gallery's two adjoining exhibition spaces (see gallery floor plan).

• McClure Gallery is an integral part of the Visual Arts Centre and favours projects that are aligned with its mandate. Your proposal should describe why you want to show your work here specifically. In keeping with its mandate, the McClure Gallery prioritizes submissions from contemporary artists living in the province of Quebec, but does not exclude artists from other provinces or countries.

• You may include a proposed exhibition floor plan for the space, but this is entirely optional.

• The gallery has limited A/V equipment and may not be able to support certain new media artworks.

• Artists will be informed by email of the selection committee’s decision within approximately 3 months.
