Vivid Force: The Power of Bold Color is Bushwick Gallery’s final group exhibition of the 2025 season—an electrifying celebration of color as both language and force. Running from November 13 to November 20, this exhibition centers on works that harness the energy of saturated hues to evoke strength, motion, emotion, and intensity. From the heat of crimson to the calm of ultramarine, color becomes the protagonist—unfiltered, direct, and unforgettable.

We invite submissions across all visual disciplines from artists who use bold color as a central element in their practice. Whether through abstraction, portraiture, mixed media, or installation, the goal is to showcase work that does not whisper but declares—works that pulse with presence.

As the closing group show of the year, Vivid Force caps off a dynamic season of exhibitions at Bushwick Gallery, following powerful showcases like Urban Narratives, Fractured Beauty, and Motion, Endurance, and Expression. This final exhibition offers artists the opportunity to make a lasting impact as the year draws to a close—both in our Brooklyn space and online via Vault, our curated digital platform.

The exhibition opens with a public reception on Thursday, November 13, from 6PM to 8PM. Selected artists will be promoted across our gallery network, included in our press outreach, and celebrated as part of Bushwick Gallery’s boldest visual statement of the year.
