Memorial to Victims of Communist Dictatorship (Germany)
An international, two-phase competition to design a memorial in Berlin dedicated to the victims of the communist era in Germany. The project will be realised in Spreebogenpark (Berlin-Mitte) and seeks proposals for a permanent, three-dimensional sculptural installation with an integrated informational component. The memorial is intended to create a dignified public space for remembrance, addressing themes of history, memory, and societal responsibility. Shortlisted applicants will be invited to develop detailed concepts, which will serve as the basis for the final design and realisation of the project.
