The Best Documentary Award honours outstanding achievements in non-fiction storytelling, showcasing impactful real-world narratives and compelling documentary filmmaking. The Best Short Film Award is open to short films with a minimum running time of four minutes and a maximum of eighteen minutes, allowing filmmakers to explore storytelling with depth and nuance while maintaining audience engagement.
