As one of the largest cultural institutions in the country, the OÖLKG sees itself as a museum and central platform for the artistic, cultural, scientific and social themes of our province and far beyond. The extensive programme is not only concentrated on the locations in Linz, but goes out into the regions in the form of travelling exhibitions, mobile showrooms and educational programmes. The focus is on regional specialities with reference to current global issues. Collection, research, discourse and mediation are the foundations of our activities.
