Reminiscing Over Gabby

A friend of mine had a rotary phone in their room and I came up with the idea to cover it in my braids with hot glue. And thankfully they said yes, and I now have this amazing prop to hang my earrings off of.

I greated this piece as my final self portrait project. You could choose still life or painting your face and I chose to do a twist of them both with my reflection in the tv. 

I Want You To Feel The Nostalgia

I created this piece during a period of my artistic journey when I found beauty in everyday things, and I noticed how beautiful my colorful braided hair was and I just knew I had to save my braids. So I did, and I had paper plates and a few paper cups, because I am in fact a college student. I then came up with the idea for a trinket holder, or shelf. And used these materials as my structure and decor.
