Nearly Wild, nearly-wild.com, a Berlin-based slow fashion company, has announced its online store opening. Inspired by craftsmanship traditions of the past and modern design, the brand is driven by a mission to provide its female customers with extraordinary connection to clothes and to contribute towards a more sustainable tomorrow.

A deep seeded dream finally becomes a reality as two sisters launch the first hand-embroidered clothing line of Nearly Wild. Impressed by the sewing and hand-embroidery techniques of their grandmother, the founders create modern clothing with a unique, timeless touch.

“Nearly Wild believes fashion can be a powerful tool for change in the world”, states Tatsiana Gehrke, the co-founder of the brand. “Our company is built upon the concepts of trust, beauty, timelessness and social responsibility. We create high quality products with a story that are specially sewn and hand-embroidered for every customer only upon an order. By personalizing our products, we want our clients to feel exceptional and love an item specially created for them.”

Being an ambassador of Slow Fashion, Nearly Wild does not follow the standard cycle of seasonal collections. The company celebrates quality and produces its clothes locally in Berlin. Nearly Wild considers that local production does not only help to insure the high level of quality, but also to support fair working conditions and the country’s economic development in general. Nearly Wild aims to restore an older tradition of emotional connection between clothes and its owners, as well as to reduce the production of waste.
