
You are probably wondering who I am and where am I am from. But if I reveal the answers, I would be giving you power over me, wouldn’t I? With that power, you could look at my words and my art and think that you’re seeing me, and that you can judge me. You must experience the art for what it is. It must speak for itself. You can’t know me, but you can know my art.And to tell another truth, I don’t know who I am. I lost my memory in a car accident. But there are some stories that have remained in my memory for some reason. I can’t remember where I came from or what my house looks like. I don’t even remember my name. So I had to rename myself. Thus, now I am Balqees. Funny, I remember I was pondering a question while I was driving, before the accident: Imagine if I woke up one day and found out that everything I have believed in, and everything I have fought for, was all wrong. What would I do?Would I kill myself or would I commit suicide?What is the difference between those choices? I guess part of me is willing to kill my old self to be reborn into a new one. However, the other part of me is too scared, and would rather end my life literally since the truth is too much to handle.

The artworks are illustrating Traumas and integrating with the emotions and how they are related to their hunger for connection. Moreover, the artworks showing how can cultures, thoughts, and beliefs act as barriers to discovery and truth. Insightfully, how can they take us away from aligning within our purpose in life? 
Henceforth, the artworks urge every individual to ask themselves about what the basis of our beliefs is?
Therefore, being present for our emotions and questioning every thought and belief that may not serve us can send freedom to our soul from suffering. Then, for me and for all people to stop living in separation we may need to learn how to integrate our bodies within our feelings that we abundant from within us. In another word, there is no reason to label whatever reflections, emotions, including thoughts as either good or bad. Because guess what they are our mirror of ourselves. In the end, integrating, meeting within our needs, and desires are in actuality may be our purpose in life.

Living in a woman’s body crying



In men’s world it is a crime



ohh dear mother how did you Survive



In a woman’s body, we’ve been taught



The pain must be endured, what an overwrought



The smile must never leave the face



A feeling of uneasiness in the body and it is a deprive



From overwhelming Feelings to fit the Standards



It works in a  play that men have made



But I’m done, I am done
