I am interested in the casting process and wanted to further explore casting with metal. 

As a continuation from my soft moulds I further went to make bronze casts using my fruits with the lost wax method. 

  
Bronze pear became apart of a bigger project that explores the tension when a man made object is placed next to a natural object.

**Eat your greens** was a collection of work I made using the casting and mould making process. 

Aside from my hand building practice with porcelain I was fascinated by the casting and mould making process. Making replicas of an object creates not only a new dialogue around that object and its purpose but questions the exterior and space it takes up, the value it gains once made permeant and in a precious material and why we see it as cheap before and now worth a higher value though it can not be consumed?
