This is a collaboration project that has been constantly evolving, affected by the changes in our societies. A wish symbolized by an origami bird (tsuru) - the wish that people stop disappearing. This itinerant-interactive installation searches to communicate the wish to find our absences, to connect them with nature and to inspire hope through the letters and correspondence that we build with our audience while we keep creating these origami birds and placing them in different locations.
The personal wish is now collective. Everyone is part of the installation. The dialogue transforms itself into a shared hope and it is materialized in an object filled with meaning. 
"The thousand - tribute to the transience of the human being" is a constant thought in action, a collective learning, a memory that flies.
