“Unfinished Story of 900 genes” - performance, foto exhibition, artvideo.

A research that encompasses the topics of gender roles, transBody, psicogenealogy and urban greek folk revival based to a personal (hi)Story.


More specifically its a research that starts with 
-Movement research about male and female elements of the expressive Body
-Collection of stories, family interviews and old photos of my ancestors,
-Development ofmy male persona “Leo”;a character that was born thanks to the encounter with  the performing artist Diane Torr. and the partecipation the her workshop "man for a day"

“ConSUMe” is the first short video of the artistic research, inspired by  the italian philosopher Umberto Galimberti and his theory about the seven new sins in the westerner culture.  According to his list  the new sins are: consumerism, conformism, boldness (unshyness), sex addiction, sociopathy, denial and emptiness. 

 The aim is to create through the poetic of the image a critical issue about the aesthetic perfection, the mass consumerism, the body as an object that keeps breathing under the mountains of its deceptive desires.

Body, space, image, virtuality, painting, materials, emotions, time, relationships..all these ele
ments are going to be the ingredients for the new experiment, based in the process of Solve et Coagula; Solve and Coagulate, create and destroy for creating something new that is going to die..
And because any kind of experiment needs a space, the Atelie' will be trasformed in a live laboratory..Athanor.

Der visuelle Künstler, Enrico Pietracci und die Tänzerin und Performerin Fenia Kotsopoulou setzen ihre gemeinsame kreative, mit der Performance „solve et coagula“ begonnene Reise durch die alchimistischen Symbole fort. Das Event „Athanor-der Ort“ ist eine
Performance – Video - Installation; sie bewegt sich weg vom Tanztheater hin zum konkreten Raum des Ateliers, welcher sich in den „Athanor“ den Labor-Ofen verwandelt indem sich die alchimistische Transmutation vollzieht.

In 5 aufeinanderfolgenden Abenden tauchen die beiden Künstler ab in das Innere des „Athanor“, sie interagieren miteinander, mit dem Raum und den sich darin befindlichen Materialien.
Der Ort verwandelt sich während der unterschiedlichen Aktionen in ein „Mikro-Universum“, ein Abbild der während des “ Prozesses“ entstandenen Emotionen.
Der gesamte Event steht dem Zuschauer immer offen. Er hat, da er die unterschiedlichen kreativen Phasen live miterleben kann die Möglichkeit, sich in die Aktionen der Künstler einzubringen indem er ihre Handlungen konditioniert, in den Raum und die Materialien eingreift und ihr Erscheinungsbild beeinflusst.
Jeder einzelne diesem Event gewidmete Tag wird seinen eigenen Charakter haben mit unterschiedlicher Qualität und Intensität.

Der abschließende 5. Tag dient der Präsentation der Ergebnisse in einer Ausstellung der Gesamtinstallation mit Fotos, Videos und „Spuren“ der Performance.

Description
A moving project that encompasses the experiences of different language forms and international artists.
This is an event that offers a direct experience between the public, the artists and images.
During the event, the public passes through a sensorial trip in a space where reality and image overlap; this is a temporary movement which creates two times and two modes of 
vision.
It's a reflection on the transformation and manipulation of human perceptions.

Control Procedure 1-Solve et Coagula

On going research about subconscious, memories , imagination and stories with(out) sense.

The most important is what is happening while you create your fairytale and not the fairytale itself. 

Process
A> random selection of outfits
B>improvisation in front of the camera
C> video still. Creation of a character.
D> 1st video. Beggining of the Fairytale.
