Meaningful Threads is a creative immersion in Southwest China exploring ancestral textile arts, natural dyeing, and Chinese philosophy—while co-creating with Dong and Miao artisans. It takes place August 17–27, 2025, in a remote rural setting.

This all-inclusive immersion covers housing, meals, local transport, materials, and all activities. International flights, visa fees, insurance, and personal expenses are not included. A 500 EUR supplement applies for a private room.

All-inclusive creative immersion (shared-room)

While the residency offers no prizes, selected applicants join a unique journey: co-creating with Dong and Miao artisans using traditional textiles. The program includes excursions, tea rituals, and philosophy workshops. Fees support the local cooperative.
