My childhood best friend inspired me with her warm smile despite her suffering from anorexia and bulimia. She never failed to brighten anyone's day, except her own.

She began free-painting and sketching to clear her thoughts at a difficult period in her life. She then sought consolation within herself, which led to her paintings being collaged as if she were multiplying herself and embracing her fundamental self.

From "selves I" to "Selves II" - creating this piece became a blooming experience that she has always longe to feel. As she finished it, is when she told herself 'This is just the beginning.'

This is a self-discovery piece recording a feeling she has deeply longed for, a sensation she may have lost or perhaps never experienced, but has always missed - transcending to another layer within herself.

This was the moment when she was immersed in her passion, with her partner by her side, each in their element. She turned to him and said, "I love enjoying me, while being next to you." It was this very moment and the feeling behind it that served as the inspiration for the theme of this show - expressing the moments and emotions that artists love the most.

She found herself dissatisfied with the initial composition on the canvas. So she applied thin strokes of white paint and then stood before a mirror, naked, hoping to find inspiration. That's when she began tracing the contours of her body, using the act of painting as a means to document her youthful present.

This painting symbolizes the beginning of her healing journey, a path that has empowered her to rediscover the freedom and authenticity within herself. it stands as a testament to her ability to evoke those emotions independently.
