Break Through is a sculptural series exploring transformation, memory, and material reinvention through the form of mushrooms. Each piece features a core made from recycled polystyrene—formerly styrofoam—that has been processed to remove air and compact waste into a dense, durable base. The surface is finished with acrylic resin and inlaid with mirrored tiles, creating a reflective skin that interacts with its environment.

  
The mushrooms are placed and photographed in natural landscapes—beaches, dunes, tide zones—where they function as ephemeral altar-like installations. Each sculpture becomes a quiet offering: part relic, part signal, part still witness to impermanence and presence.
