In _The First Remembering_, shadowed figures rise beneath a spectral moon — warriors, hunters, or perhaps the earliest dreamers. Their gestures, etched in graphite and dust, seem to emerge from another time, recalling the first stories ever told through mark and movement.

This painting inaugurates _The First Remembering_ series — an exploration of humankind’s earliest impulses toward art, ritual, and meaning. Each work in the collection unearths fragments of memory — primitive yet universal — asking what remains when all language fades but the need to create endures.
