Carl Goes Berlin is our first step on the Carl Goes journey of city guide books. Our aims? To turn travel guide publishing on its head (we cut out the middle men and wrote and published this guide during the very same year); and to bring the local voices of a destination directly to our curious and creative readers.

We want everyone from entrepreneurs and business owners, to inquisitive city breakers and seasoned globetrotters, to become locals for the duration of their visit. You may even be an architect coming to Berlin to work on a project, a curious web developer who wants to check out Berlin’s 'Silicon Alley', or perhaps you are thinking about starting your own company in Berlin.
