skin is an audiovisual performance that meditates in the extinction, mutation and adaptation of biodiversity.

Digital textures of endangered species morph in real time during the performance, projected over two performers wearing morphsuits.

The performers struggle to move, breathe and survive. Their personal interpretation of movement results from their relationship with the project and with each other.

Their position in space and movements control the digital projections using a kinect sensor.

Their movement starts together as a single-celled morphed amoeba and evolves during the performance into agonizing terrestrial creatures.

The mutation that the two terrestrial creatures suffer in the skin during the performance, takes them through different endangered species until they all become extinct.
