The Ateliê Itinerante project is closely linked to the meeting of artists who influenced Theater, Cinema and Dance in their formation. From the meeting of the other person, the idea of ​​exhibiting drawings was born, showing critical and dreamlike visions, reflecting the inner world that translates and transmutes in lines, colors and paper. Art of new encounters: with people, with art, with history and with feelings. There are those who define life. There are those who choose to just live it, without making great definitions of it. There are those who bring from the field of science, keys to the interpretation of “being and being in the world” to incite here a reflection by Paulo Freire, of life. There is nothing to say. Just see, really feel.
Itinerant Atelier is this: a small meeting that holds within itself a gigantic complex phenomenon. That met for the first time beyond the beauties of the heat of this land, the art that unites us. The figurative is the inspiration. The drawing is expressive, linked to “free figuration”. In his work, violence resembles “Neoexpressionist” lines of Fauvism (beasts), taking inspiration from the works of Chico da Silva and Zé Pinto. The drawing brings to the heart of the work the faces and portraits of multiple beings, human or not, mythical or not, imagined or not. With great will and with the energy of the orchestra of the lines and their production with the objective of overthrowing the constituted codes and thus, taking art from everyday life.
The ornamentation elements that fill the drawings with a decorative function and bring together elements of poetry and aesthetics through a dialogue with everyday life, the movement of the city. The dream world is present through perceived elements of northeastern culture and travel in the imaginary collective of happiness in the encounter of the world. It is not difficult to see in the figures the Wounds of Bodies and elements seen in the city.
