I sincerely believe that all people is one organism. When we provide positive energy we improve not only the life of the other human, but, first of all, we benefit ourselves because everything and everybody is connected. We are like the capillaries in the circulatory system that must work together to maintain the vital activity. Unfortunately people tend to forget about it and sometimes harm each other and therefore harm themselves. 

The work Dawn is about the light that shines from within us and we always have to remember about. When we start sharing our light, it awakens the radiance in other people. Even our smallest acts of kindness help other people manifest their inner light, which returns in response. Thus, our positive energy is not only the cause of changes in others, but also fills ourselves with vital energy.

The work explores fragmented identity in the post-digital condition, where the boundaries between inner experience and external representation are constantly refracted. The face, constructed from fractured geometric structures, becomes a metaphor for the hidden facets of the self that resist social legibility.

Visual layers emerge repressed fears and aggression or sensitivity and vulnerability concealed beneath curated images. The piece reflects the tension between visibility and concealment, showing how digital culture amplifies this duality. The work questions whether authentic wholeness is possible in a world that favors surface over depth.

Dual We

Each transformation is followed by growth, painful but fruitful for new form of life. It shows you the way to your inner depths, cleared of rubbish and fears. Traveling to the darkest sides of your soul allows you to go deeper than your emotions, under the cover of depression, bad mood, reaching the point where it no longer exists. And at this moment you take the chance to reveal the beauty of your true self.

The work captures a moment of rupture, where identity is torn between fear of collapse and the possibility of renewal. The fragmented forms suggest both the disintegration of stability and the fragile emergence of new ground. The work explores transformation as a dual process: fragmentation destabilizes and isolates, yet at the same time opens space for reconfiguration. In this tension between loss and reconstruction, the self is revealed not as fixed, but as continuously refracted through psychological struggle and shifting perception.

Refracted Self

This work explores the complex relationship between the inner self and the external world, where identity is shaped under the influence of social norms, cultural codes, and personal beliefs. The fragmented face, as if assembled from shards of perception, reflects the process of self-identification under external pressure and internal contradictions.

The red hand becomes the central symbol, both interference and resistance. It is the hand of social norms, imposing structure and defining the limits of what is permissible and possible. At the same time, it is the hand of the self, already adapted to these constraints and unconsciously reproducing them. It seeks to penetrate, to transform, to control, yet also destroys in its attempt to reconsider its own nature.

 The work is about the close and sometimes painful relationship between new technologies and humanity, about our relationships with other people. I invite the viewers to meet the ongoing transformations of a human-being and the contemporary world, encourage the spectators not to hide and accept the forced discomfort to see their true Self. 

"Just like you" was exhibited on 780 digital screens around Belgium as part of my cooperation with Artcrush Gallery in February 2024.

Just like you

The work explores the internal traces of fleeting states that persist at the intersection of material, digital, and psychic reality. The visual language captures a "thermal memory" of the body or an event, the dissipated energy of a gesture, an unexpressed impulse, an affect, or an experience that continues to pulsate after the source has vanished.

The fragmented and tense form serves as a metaphor for mental overload, unconscious anxiety, and the tension that never found release. This trace is not a direct imprint but a residual warmth, something invisible to the eye yet perceptible on the level of internal sensitivity, like an emotional aftertaste.

The work explores the interplay between our biological selves and the technological facets of our existence. Emerging from the friction of natural impulses and digital noise, there is a sense that any harmony feels temporary and perpetually at risk of collapse. The individual is caught between biological memory and technological acceleration, suspended in a unity that is as precarious as it is vital.
