The Edeiken International Arts Foundation (EIAF), founded by Dr. Nicole Edeiken, announces the second-year Artist-in-Residence Program hosted at 7artscafe in Yokohama, Japan. This residency is exclusively for professional musicians, composers, sound artists, and interdisciplinary creators whose primary medium is music or sound.

The program supports innovation in contemporary sound, composition, performance, and cross-genre experimentation while fostering meaningful cultural exchange in Yokohama.

**Objectives**

*   **Cultural Exchange:** Support direct engagement between international musicians and the creative community of Yokohama.
    
*   **Artistic Innovation:** Encourage exploratory work in sound, composition, performance, and cross-genre practice.
    
*   **Community Enrichment:** Promote public engagement through workshops, open rehearsals, and participatory musical events.

The selected artist or ensemble will receive a $10,000 USD grant, payable in four installments, to support airfare, housing, living expenses, transportation, and project materials.
