This is a self-portrait of myself. The background is a traditional ancient Chinese woman I painted with a pen. I painted a modern self with gouache, which also reflects the contrast between tradition and modernity, and the contrast between Chinese and Western cultures.

There are many opportunities in life. The purpose of painting this picture is to tell myself not to miss any opportunity, but to seize it hard.

Missing the boat

The world I was looking for was colorful and free, and now the pandemic has destroyed it. I completed this work last year, I want to rekindle my inner hope and make my inner world more colorful, just like this drawing.

Colorful world

I use ink to express the gurgling water, to express the natural phenomenon. I think people nowadays mostly rely on electronics and ignore the beauty of nature around them. Natural scenery can bring people a relaxed and happy mood, and it can also bring people peace. I hope everyone can put down their electronic products and go to see the world outside the window.
