During lockdown I always keep looking for little dreamy escapes. This has always been my go to remedy in any kind of situation.  That's how I got fascinated by still life photography. I was looking for interesting subjects that could be seen as a metaphor for our mind. I shot for instance a colourful cabbage in my studio, where I played around with the spatial aspect, turning it so that it would almost float in space.  I went on to produce a series of colourful still life images of life's everyday objects.
