About

As a dancer and creative director, I see myself at the crossroads of emotion, movement, and transformation. From the spirited krump dance of Los Angeles streets to the evocative mime performances I participated in as a child in the church, my work is grounded in a sense of curiosity that has been alive in me since being the youngest of five children.

These early experiences have fostered my desire to create immersive narratives that captivate, provoke, and enlighten. As an artist, I find myself influenced by the poignant narratives of Octavia Butler, the cinematic aesthetics of Andrei Tarkovsky, Ralph Bakshi's animation, and René Laloux's surrealism.

My craft combines the dynamic realms of dance, visual arts, and technology. These diverse disciplines coalesce into multisensory installations that stir audiences at various levels, prompting reflection on our shared human experiences and the transformative potential of creative expression.

I am particularly fascinated by the relationship between the body and architecture, examining how we inhabit space and are, in turn, shaped by our surroundings. This exploration, combined with my commitment to highlighting underrepresented voices—particularly artists of color—redefines the role of art in society, challenging conventional narratives.

Ultimately, my work invites conversation about the transformative power of art and its role in contemporary society. By creating experiences that ignite curiosity, stir reflection, and inspire dialogue, I hope to contribute to the greater understanding and appreciation of art's influence on our world.
