This is a Berlin-based experimental project raising question to each of us about memory and time:
......................""So early to remember""........................
We have been here before, haven't we?
We walked these streets, sat in these cafes, talked to the bypasses, in the names of the traveler, thinker and creators. All feel so familiar, yet once more with strange faces, like the telegraph poles in Berlin masked by hundreds of posters pilling off. Reincarnation never ceases for a city and nor for us. All is so early to remember.
"So early to remember" is the first phase of an ongoing project "Braille". We are all readers of braille, decoding secrets of life greater than our words. This reading should never be asked, it asks. When our eyes rest the world darkens, our memories surfaces from the silence like dewed flower, so far yet so fresh. Their pedals too fragilely youthful tempt us while we age, and time sets us apart when we cry for reunion. Distance in time becomes the source of all mysteries and we are once again the readers of Braille. Before this ruthlessness we compromise, surrender, nevertheless resist, hold
and create.
With this vision in mind, we are calling for creative minds, artists, writers, performers, to join our journey and submit works responding to our first topic, "So early to remember". The topic is related to memories of past and of those reincarnated through time. Notice that the first stage is meant to be working like a pilot ballon, which not only grounds our current creative approach but also tests the limits of our creativity on this matter. You are all encouraged to freely interpret the meaning of the title, of time and memory.
*All works in physical forms are welcomed, and works collected will be displayed in a designated location in Berlin(will soon be updated) As both our group and project are still in the developmental stage, we are highly open and enthusiastic about new participants and any input of new idea and suggestion. *
