Born in Long Beach, California. Aged 17 became protegé to production for Shirl Goedike of Didier Imbert Gallerie, Paris, France, and Adelson Galleries, New York, and Venice, Italy.
Subsuming the contradictory tendencies of the Romantic-Industrial Complex, her series 'Sex with Animals' builds a body of work around investigations of the psycho-sexual identity. Sexual suffering in itself suggests other kinds of oppressive cultural presence. Gestures are suspended before they can declare their purpose: the scene is there to be uncovered by anyone who can find mystery in the anodyne. Brutal violent cruel games, and the paradox of societal pleasure at the misfortune of women.
