Eastscapes II

Migrating storks inspire us in their way of being, like how strong they are by crossing continents, arriving new geographies and building their nests from scratch to make babies. Travelling is their only chance for survival, travelling is necessary, travelling is vital, travelling is inevitable. The notion of 'home' is not a question. Everywhere they are is home or nowhere is home. It is just about existence. 'Stork tales' is a series of photographic work about storks in an area across Poland, Ukraine and Romania which is printed on wood.

Eastscapes is a series of photographic work from a bike travel in 2013 starting from Berlin crossing Poland, Ukraine, Romania, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia and Hungary. After 3300 km by bike, hills and mountains up and down with our old and heavy bikes, here are some shots from this interesting and adventurous travel.
