I am a young photographer looking for assisting work with photographers who can teach me more about the field I already love. I went to the School of Visual Arts in NYC, where I earned my Bachelors in Fine Arts in Photography. There I figured out my style and gained knowledge on about how to work in studios and on location, programs like photoshop, and the ins and outs of the business. I also worked at Fotocare Rentals, one of the most respected camera stores in New York, for about a year, where I was responsible for managing equipment as they were returned to the store. I've cleaned hundreds of cameras and lenses and would test light packs and heads daily, teaching me how they work and how to use them in necessary settings. I have assisted a couple photographers on sets already, but I am really looking for more experience. I am very easy going and hardworking. Very willing to listen and learn. I currently have a job where I do not get to be creative or use the skills I have gained in university and in life, so I am very eager to start working. In my free time I like to shoot night scenes and portraits. I prefer night time because I am only given light from the moon or street lights, and I have to pull things out of the darkness, rather than exposing them with artificial light sources.
