Cleary is a part-time tutor with the LSU in LSAD and a volunteer with Adapt House women’s refuge. Recently joined the Arts committee of the Tipperary Revitalisation TaskForce. An experimental artist working primarily with sculptural installations in pursuance of the creation of mini environments centered around the domestic landscape. She received a First Class Honours Masters Degree in Interactive-Media from the UL in 2015 and graduated with a First Class Honours Degree in Fine Art from LSAD in 2014. She was highly commended for the 2014 programme of the Undergraduate Awards in both the Visual Arts category and the Media & the Arts category. She was one of thirteen artists chosen to participate at the inaugural international exhibition of ‘Aligned’. In 2018 Cleary completed a two-week residency in the Tyrone Guthrie Centre for which she was awarded a bursary. Previous group exhibitions include 'Cairde Visual', ‘Winter Open Exhibition’ at Rua Red Gallery, and the ‘188th Annual Exhibition’ at the Royal Hibernian Academy. Clearys solo show Conversation with [my] Mother ran at the Alley Arts Centre Tyrone in April '19. Recently published in the 55th edition of Art Reveal. Upcoming projects in 2021 include an exhibition in 126, and a solo show in Tipperary Excel. Recently concluded a curatorial residency at STAC with Anne Mulee. Recent exhibitions include Rural Shame at Custom House Galley, Fuzzy Logic at Studio 12 & New Works at STAC.
