In my current series I am making a series of abstract "Torsos" slightly larger than life sized from hand-made paper. I make the paper from a pulp of cotton fibers mixed with recycled life drawings. I like to imagine the energy of the drawings informs the forms. The finished works are predominately white accented with drawn marks in color. Previously in the US, I did site specific outdoor sculptures and masks and taught mask making to theater students, I have curated several exhibitions, most before coming to Berlin. Two were named by the local newspapers (Allentown and Reading, Pa) as among the best 10 of the year. I have a BA plus graduate credits from the US: University of the Arts, Philadelphia, Pa., Montclair State University, and NYU and have attended many skill related workshops
