I'm an Artist and Photographer from Berlin, Germany. My artistic focuses are wood sculptures, writing essays, and photography. What I love doing most is making my own reflection of reality; I am in inspired by traveling, varied experiences, science, culture, and religion, which you can read more about on my website
I was an advertising photographer for 15 years, with a focus on food, people and stills. I mostly worked in my studio with studio flash and an analog 4 by 5 inch camera Sinar, which I loved very much. Models, art directors, and assistants were also present. This way of working was interesting to me and I have made a series of autobiographic triptychs and minimalism symbolic works of art, which are influenced by this experience and will also be featured in the art book.
In parallel to the adverting photography, I started to work with my Nikon FA, a wide-angle lens, and high-sensitivity B / W film; this is how I developed my special image technology. For me, it served as a relief from the technical ballast and helped me to create the “X Capitals” project series, the longest and most challenging work I have accomplished. The Series “Manifold III – Three Times 15 Shades of God” arose out of this extensive work.
