Hangar is an art center devoted to photography, Hangar has set itself the mission of opening up to all forms and sensitivities of contemporary photography. There is no restriction on genres, or territories, or operating methods in the medium. What counts is the artist, what he or she has to say about his or her times through the lens, and the experience that the curated and exhibited works offer our visitors. PhotoBrussels Festival, the flagship annual event at Hangar, recent years have seen the gradual emergence of a whole dynamic based around photography.
