Even though we don't live that far from each other, we had to create this animation through web calls and text messages. 
We came across the concept of oroboros, which is a visual metaphor of an infinite loop. After some brainstorming we started developing the idea that the concept of correspondence also has to do with this loop, but the difference is that there are two or more parts that, despite being separated, somehow dialogue with each other. The idea sounded adequate for the year 2020. The final result is the animated translation of two bodies locked in a loop – forever complementing each other, but never really merging. 

Oroboros | Correspondence

I’ve made this illustration for MAAT’s museum program “MAATuridades”, where local senior citizens are invited to get to know and talk about modern art. It was an honor, both to work with MAAT and to be a part of such an important and meaningful initiative.
