My art is about sensations and emotions. I paint emotional scenes from my mind's eye in the sense of abstract expressionism that intermingles with figurative elements. In my mixed-media paintings, plants, flowers, and shellfish often appear in a symbolic manner.
I am expressing beauty, ache, vigor, sadness, joy, sentiment, madness, goofiness, melancholy, and excitement in the way I know. Capturing the vivid fragments of living, I aim to grasp at its essential rawness.
