Julien Menand, born in France, lives and works as a visual artist and photographer in Berlin. He studied Fine Arts (majoring in photography) at the Paris 8 University, at the HGB Leipzig (masterclass Prof. Beate Gütschow) and at the HEAD Geneva. As a photographer he has worked in New York, Paris, Geneva, Helsinki and Crakow.
His Art oscillates between the fields of photography, installation, and explores the boundaries and possibilities linked with spaces of this artform. Julien works mainly with analog photography.
He has photographed numerous contemporaries: actors of the international artistic & cultural scene. Represented by the Agency Leemage Opale Paris, he regularly collaborates with European press and publishers.
