Darb1718 Contemporary Art residency offers artists an immersive experience to develop their practice with the opportunity to incorporate new techniques. The Artistic village is in the ancient ceramic production site of Al Fukhareen. Many ceramic studios are in the village, in addition to many other art forms. Artists can work on the medium of their choice in an authentic artistic setting.  

Artists of any media can apply. The residency is particularly relevant to ceramic artists because of the location and the proximity to ceramic arts. Musicians and performing artists may apply. Stages and performance spaces are available for those who would like to offer an event.
