global project grant

The Global Project Grant is a grant for artists in the Luxembourg music sector, designed to enable them to present a comprehensive and ambitious one-year project that potentially aims to go beyond a simple album release or tour. The project must have a clearly international objective and bring together a variety of aspects ranging from research and project design to promotion and distribution.

This initiative aims to add value to the project and encourage artists and their teams to plan and anticipate their strategy over a year with a dedicated budget. It also offers the opportunity and recommends implementing innovative and creative concepts that can go beyond standardized career paths, the goal not necessarily being the pursuit of commercial success. Preferably, the project should include support that could take the form of mentoring or participation in various programs, management workshops, and others.

For its part, Kultur | lx is committed to supporting the winners throughout all stages of the project.

Our objectives for Luxembourg artists:

• Allow the artist to propose an ambitious, inventive and innovative project that goes beyond standardized career paths;

• Give the artist a certain flexibility during the GPG year, from research and design of the project to its dissemination;

• Bring added value to the project presented;

• Allow the artist to design a project encompassing a diversity of aspects in the medium and long term;

• Allow the artist to plan and anticipate his strategy over a year with a dedicated budget;

• Increase visibility and public attention.

The objectives for Kultur | lx:

• Follow and support a project in all its stages, from its conception to its dissemination;

• Receive projects thought out in the medium and long term with a defined strategy;

• Promote, encourage the creativity of artists;

• Encourage artistic approaches and projects which integrate, in their development, the reflections which currently permeate artistic creation, whether at the aesthetic, societal, environmental or technological level;

• Professionalize the sector.
