auftakt visual arts funding

The Visual Arts division of the North Rhine-Westphalia Arts Foundation supports professional artists, institutions, and initiatives from North Rhine-Westphalia whose work is distinguished by artistic diversity, high quality, and particular relevance. Funding is provided for projects that open up new perspectives, develop innovative forms of expression, and make artistic practice in North Rhine-Westphalia visible and influential. These projects have an impact both regionally and internationally, contributing to the presentation of contemporary art from North Rhine-Westphalia beyond the state's borders.
