“publish now!” publication grant

The ARTHENA FOUNDATION will be offering a grant for the second time at the turn of the year 2025/26, which will support artists living or born in Germany in financing a publication.

For artists, publications remain highly important for disseminating and discussing their work. Given the continued high demand for funding opportunities for publication projects, the grant focuses on printed books, which will continue to make a significant contribution to cultural exchange. 

The grant is aimed at artists who wish to publish their work in an artist's book. Funding will be provided for two publications that reflect in a special way on the medium of the book in relation to the artist's own artistic practice. In addition to substantial financial support, the institution also offers expert guidance during the project's realization. With this multifaceted funding initiative, the ARTHENA FOUNDATION aims to support artists in their professional development.
