The Nordic Analog Network invites photographers and artists working with analog photography in the Nordic countries to apply for three- to eight-week residencies at five participating darkrooms in other Nordic countries. In addition, Island Darkroom in Scotland is participating in the open call through separate funding, offering one additional residency. Each darkroom will select one artist for a residency, with six artists selected in total.
During their stay, residents are free to work on their own projects alongside other photographers using the darkroom. They are encouraged to share their work through presentations, workshops, small exhibitions, artist talks, or other activities, fostering exchange and networking within the analog photography community. The hosting darkrooms will invite residents to participate in or lead workshops on sustainable photography practices.
