johnny martinsson scholarship for swedish artists

On the occasion of Johnny Martinsson's 75th birthday on 1 August 2009 - with the help of non-profit work, voluntary contributions and support from various promoters in Blekinge - an art book illustrating a large part of Johnny's artistic output over the years has been produced.

In connection with this, the Johnny Martinsson Foundation has been formed to support young cultural workers in Blekinge. The purpose of the foundation is to award an educational scholarship annually, this is primarily financed through income from the book as well as gifts and grants.
