fellowships: july-december 2027

A Vermont Studio Center residency provides artists and writers from around the world with the time and space to deepen their creative practice while building a solid network of mentors, collaborators, and friends. Sessions run for two, three, and four weeks.

Our Visiting Artist & Writer Program is intended to provide a mentoring service to residents and spark dialogue within the community, as well as provide an opportunity for residents to receive constructive feedback on their work.

Visiting Artists give a public talk and offer studio visits, and Visiting Writers present a reading, a craft talk, and offer manuscript critiques to residents. Studio visits and manuscript critiques are scheduled through the Program Staff. You will be notified on how to sign-up during your residency. Participation in this program is optional.

This Open Call will fill residencies from July 2027 to December 2027.
