the revenge lab is looking to hear from you

The Revenge Lab is a project taking place within the frame of 'Dienst' - a cycle of collaborative micro-residencies and exhibitions hosted at the Galerie Ladons in Hamburg.

If you're an artist in Germany you've probably had issues figuring out your freelancing bureaucracy, KSK and funding situation, tax matters... and the list goes on. If, on top of that, you're a foreigner, then you know the hustle well, specially when the Ausländerbehörde continues to play tricks on you while you struggle to stay afloat combining several jobs and impossible hours. You're an art worker AND a mother? Then you're next level bad-ass and we need to hear from you.

The Revenge Lab is a space for people to come and vent on the bureaucratic struggles that seem to go hand in hand with working in the artistic field in Germany. Experiences will be exchanged, there will be time and space for open dialogue, advice, consultations, consolations, and catharsis of all kinds. If you've ever found yourself on the edge of a nervous breakdown because of these issues... Well, then you know that such a platform (a Revenge Lab, quite specifically) is long overdue.
