The Artist Residency Program welcomes professional artists, culminating in a one month exhibition of the artist-in-resident's work in Gallery 191.
There are two artist-in-residence opportunities:
- Two residencies will be offered to professional artists during regular operating hours, from mid January to mid December, each to exhibit in Gallery 191 for one month
Artist responsibilities:
- Recipient is responsible for all costs in excess of the five hundred dollars in art supplies provided
- Recipient must work in the studio a minimum of 14 hours per week, maximum 21 hours, during operating hours
- Recipient to provide one Maven Talk during their exhibition
- Recipient is responsible for for gallery install and take-down
- Recipient must actively participate in the promotion of the program, the site, and the opening reception through their own networks and effort
